Delete your Hash Vault account

You can delete your Hash Vault account and everything in your vault yourself, at any time, from the app or the website. You don't need to contact us, and it is free.

In the iPhone, iPad or Android app

  1. Open Hash Vault and sign in.
  2. Tap Settings (bottom right), then Your data.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE and, if your account has one, your password, then confirm.

On the website

  1. Go to the sign-in page and sign in.
  2. Open Settings → Your data → Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE and, if your account has one, your password, then confirm.

If you signed up with Google or Sign in with Apple and have no password, signing in again within the last 30 minutes is enough; otherwise we email you a link to confirm that it really is you.

Want a copy first? Use Settings → Your data → Export everything before you delete.

What happens next

  • You are signed out of every device straight away, and push notifications stop.
  • If you used Sign in with Apple, Hash Vault is disconnected from your Apple ID.
  • Your account and everything in it (notes, passwords, contacts, files, diary, money, renewals, records, shares you made and settings) is permanently deleted 30 days after you ask. Sign in before then if you change your mind, and the deletion is cancelled.
  • Items you shared with others are removed from their view when your account is deleted. Items others shared with you stay in their own vaults.
  • Encrypted backups roll over within 14 days after that, so the last copies are gone then too.
  • We keep only what the law requires (for example records of a legal request), never your vault's contents. Nothing is kept for advertising or sold.

Delete only some of your data

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data: delete any note, file, password or record, then empty Trash; turn off AI features, push or profile lookup in Settings; or remove a phone number or passkey in Settings → Security.

Can't sign in?

First try resetting your password or signing in with an emailed code. If that doesn't work, write to info@hashkrio.com from the email address of your account, or call +91 98790 48212. We confirm it is your account, then delete it within 30 days and tell you when it's done.
